Breaks, Snacks and Lunch

Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 children receive free fruit for morning break and free milk up to the age of five.

Children who bring in a snack for mid-morning break are encouraged to bring something healthy.

Please ensure any snacks or food items that children bring into school are nut-free!

School Dinners

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal each day under the Government's new scheme; Universal Free School Meals (UIFSM).  This takes effect from September 1st 2014.
Children bringing in a packed lunch are requested, to bring it in a named container.

Dinner money is currently £2.89 per day and should be paid via ParentPay.

If you think you are entitled to income-related free school meals contact the school office. This is important as this type of free school meal also brings other financial benefits for your child.  It is different from the UIFSM scheme detailed above.

Water Bottles

We request that every child brings in a named bottle of water to school each day. It has been proven that fresh water helps the children to learn more effectively.
